Within the spectrum of life and death we are here concentrating on saving our subjects history. Consider this an interview tutorial, it can be formal or informal. Time is precious so find a recording device. Most phones have a audio or video recording app so just turn it on and put it down close to your subject. Your recording produces effects, keep these things in mind:

1. People (subject) want to be remembered, so let them talk and listen.
2. The recording you are making will increase joy and reduce pain for those left behind.
3. Photos, mementos, or other visual aids are great memory-joggers. Use them!
4. If you don’t complete the interview in one sitting, set a date to resume your conversation later.
